FUZEON is injected under the skin twice daily. Your healthcare provider will walk you through the steps of FUZEON injection before you begin your treatment.

Plan for 2X Daily Injections:
It’s important you do not miss a dose, so planning is key. Before the start of your day:
Tip: always have a carrying case with supplies on the ready for spontaneous moments.
Pick Where to Inject:
Tip: Upper arms can be hard to reach. Ask a caregiver to get injection training to help you.
Know the Injection Process:
What to expect: Set aside 30 minutes to prepare, inject and dispose of the syringe.
Prepare Solution: You will inject water into a vial of Fuzeon powder and gently mix. Never shake. Once all powder is fully dissolved and there is no foam or air bubbles, you will draw the solution into the syringe.
Inject: Pick an appropriate injection spot and make sure it is a different spot than the last time you injected. Please read and follow the Instructions for Use before each injection.
Dispose: Use a sharps container for safe disposal of FUZEON syringes and needles. To get a free sharps container, call 1-877 4 FUZEON.
Pay attention to how you are feeling. Serious allergic reactions may occur. Please seek immediate medical attention if you start to experience any serious allergic reaction, including: trouble breathing, fever with vomiting and a skin rash, blood in your urine, or swelling of your feet.
